Unfortunately, I was not able to find the specific measurements that you asked for, however, I can inform you of how much gravel weighs as a whole in cubic feet.

  • How much does gravel weigh?
It is important to understand that the density of gravel depends on the condition and the type of gravel that you have. For example, there are four main types of gravel which include loose gravel, dry, wet, and gravel with sand and other mixtures. When it comes to loose gravel, the weight in pounds is 95.

For around a quarter to 2 inches of dry gravel, you would accumulate a weight of 105. In addition the same measurements for wet gravel come to 125. Lastly, the weight of gravel along with sand reaches 120. All of these measurements are calculated in cubic feet and weighed in pounds.

  • What about concrete?
It may be interesting for you to know that concrete is another substance that is weighed very often, in order for workers to lay the right amount down on roads and sidewalks etc.

In order to find the weight of concrete the height, width, and the length of the area being used to place the concrete in must be measured. Once you have the measurements down you will need to multiply them all together, in order to find the volume, which is in cubic feet.

You will then need to use a specific calculation to find out the weight of the concrete. To do this you must multiply the volume figure you just formulated by 143.38. You should now have the correct weight of concrete measured in pounds. Once you have the correct weight you can begin to decide on how much you're going to use to fill the allocated space you have for the concrete.

1 Yard is approx. 27 cubic feet. For 3/4 inch gravel, you are looking at approximately 1.4 tons, or 2800 lbs per cubic yard. The thickness is of no consequence as outlined in the previous answer. A cubic yard is already a "volume" measurement. The term "gravel" can include a variety of natural or recycled aggregate that may change the density of the individual rocks, but in general terms you are looking at approx. 2800 lbs or 1269 kgs.
