The moon is moveing around the earth as the month go by, 1 month is a full revalution. The moon never changes shap
just the amount of lighted surface we see changes. A full moon is when the earth is between the moon and sun,
new moon the moon is between the earth and the sun and the two quarters its just on one side. You should be able to find
a good diagram on the internet no problem just type in Moon phases.
Just picture the same amount of light on a round ball on the same side.
When the ball is between you and the light its dark, but when the ball is right beside you the light still gets stoped
on one side because the moon blocks it from getting to the other side. When the moon don't stop the light you see the
whole thing. Also on the sides you only see half .
The sun don't revolve around the moon or earth, so the light can't move with it, the light is stuck in one place.

The moon itself does not change shape.  What changes is how much of it is visible to the earth, depending upon it's position relative to the earth and to the sun.

It does not change shape. What you see is just different shapes of the shadows caused by the blockage of light from the Sun by the Earth.

The moon actually does not have light. It is a silvery kind of heavenly body that rotates around the earth. Just like a piece of white paper, if there is light it will shine but if it is murky it wiil be dark just like everything else around. Then how does this has got to do with the changing of its shape from time to time?

As most of us know, the moon rotates around the earth and at almost every instance light is reflected from the sun to the moon then towards the earth. But not all of the surface of the moon is hit by sunlight. Just in the same way as the earth, half of it is daytime and the other half is nightime. It is due to this shadow on the surface of the moon that at some different stages in its rotation around the earth it will appear in different shapes and sizes. These are called "The Phases of the Moon".

Not aware that it has, at least not in human history. And we can't know for sure even how it came to be. One theory is it came out of the Earth in the billion year old solar system creation times (not creation, but universe evolution).

It depends on the sun that is blocking the moon ,so one side of the earth has light which is day and the other side which is night
