How Can We Make A Toy With Waste Materials?

Simply take a piece of stiff paper like tag board and cut out a circle the desired size. I suggest 3-5 inches diameter. Punch two holes near the  center. Color both sides of the circle with bright colors . Now take about 40 inches of string and tread it thru the 2 holes from the same direction. Tie them together. Put your fingers thru the string on both sides of the circle like you would to do a "cats cradle' Now twirl the sting making the circle and string "wind up". Pull the string tight and the circle will spin freely until the string has completely unwound. The effect is a whirl of colors that come together and slowly separate again.
