There are various impacts of microorganisms on our lives therefore, they have become very important for us. Firstly, various kinds of microorganisms cause many kinds of diseases in our body like tuberculosis, influenza, polio etc. The microorganisms also participate in carbon and nitrogen cycle and plays an important role in our ecosystem. They are being used in our various industries like brewing, baking, wine making and pickling therefore, they provide us with various kinds of foods. For the water treatment Specially-cultured microbes are used. Interestingly, because of their fermentation process, the microbes are used for making energy like they are used to produce ethanol. Therefore, microorganisms can both positively as well as negatively affect our lives and that is why they are considered very important.
