The ability to perform as a team is more of an attitude than a skill. Team players are always expected be amicable and convivial. Generally friendly towards everyone and extroverted personalities mostly. People are private and withdrawn generally don`t make good team players. A team oriented individual would always be like sponge and absorb comments, even if he/she is to express their chagrin over something they would do in as least offensive a manner as possible. They are subtle in expressing their disappointment over something and they are public in lauding their mates.
