Caste system can be eradicated from the society only through amendment of the present Indian constitution . But it is not very easy. People from the lower castes enjoys reservation in the government jobs. So they want to continue as such. They will not allow to eradicate it. The forward castes also against eradication since now a days they are enjoying the aristocratic life. Most of them are against inter-caste marriage.
It can be eradicate from the Indian society by two ways.

2. Abolish caste column from the official registers.
