The
best time to move Hydrangea is fall but let the leaves
fall and in moving the plant take special care of taking bulk of soil with the plant.
Move the plant into a pre dug hole and water very well after placing it there. I hope it will work for your plant.

Best time to move it is in the fall! I know you need to take as much dirt from around the roots as possible and water it well after replanting!

My oak leaf hydrangea needs to be moved because some of the leaves are burning, when and where is the best time and place.
