Public enterprises are owned by the state and provides services and products to the common public. These play important roles for providing employment and many other benefits to the common public and if these enterprises have their shares for offering to the public of the country, they are very beneficial for the employees, directors and many other people who are involved. This provides compensation to the people who work in the organization. It needs to be seen that the public enterprises should work in a way that they can contribute in the poverty reduction. Other than that as the private sector is not capable of doing anything much for the people, it is upon the public sector to invest for the development.
