Conceptual schema is also known as conceptual data model. It is a map of concepts and their relationships. It describes the semantic of an organization and gives a data model for understanding. It also shows the significant things for an organization which are known as entity classes. Moreover, it gives the characteristics of attributes and relationships between the classes. For example, each individual may be the seller in one or more orders and every order must be from one or more individuals. An individual is sub-type of PARTY(which means that every instance of individual is an instance of PARTY). Another relationship is that every employee may have the supervisor which is also an employee. In this way conceptual schema is developed.
