Volcanoes can break houses apart, cause big mud/landslides which can kill people easily. The pyroclastic flow is caused by rocks and other things from the volcano which are heavy. The gases that they give off toxic and harmful gases which can seriously injure if not kill you. The lava given off is really hot and can easily melt or burn lots of things in its way.

When a volcano erupts there are often seismic tremors, shockwaves of sound, a rain of ash and flying molten rock. A volcano kills many people and costs the government a huge amount of cash. Volcanoes lead to homelessness, loss of food and drink, electricity and gas. Volcanoes do have side effects as well such as landslides, mudslides, earthquakes and tsunamis.

Volcanoes can destroy homes and cause things such as seismic tremors, shock waves, flying molten rock, and many other harmful things. If a volcano erupts underwater, then it may cause a tsunami to occur.

Different volcanoes act differently, the most damaging ones are the explosive ones.  Magma builds up in the volcano's chamber, then erupts when the pressure is too great.  When it erupts, it sends superheated gasses (from the extreme pressure before eruption, the gasses get hotter than they could at atmospheric pressure) called pyroclastic flows rolling down its sides.  These can go several miles for large volcanoes, and they instantly destroy everything in their path.  If you are a bit further out, then you will see massive amounts of ash, possibly tens of feet thick, fall and cause asphyxiation for all living things. Finally, if the volcano is large enough, it can cause the earth's temperature to drop, and cause a mini ice age, plus the ash in the air can kill off plants, and in turn kill humans and animals through starvation.  You will also have acid rain to worry about because of the contaminants in the air.  This is all without even mentioning any lava flows made of molten rock that can eat their way through anything, and cause massive fires.

A volcano can destroy everything. A fairly recent example is the Island of Krakatoa's whose volcano erupted and sunk the island. There are super volcano's as Yellowstone Park is classified that when it erupts would pretty much wipe out most of the Western States according to theory since no one alive or that has lived has every wrote about the eruptions.

A volcano can kill many people because of the hot, burning lava. The volcano will also cost the government a huge amount of money. The maximum would be about 4 to 5 million dollars and the minimum can be at least 2.5 million dollars

Volcanoes can destroy everything in its path, the poisonous steam and ash clouds cover everything. Volcanoes can cause landslides, mudslides, earthquakes, tsunamis the ash that falls can make it hard to see, breathe and usually smells really bad. Many people could be killed or badly injured, people could be homeless for months or years, people are left traumatised and some even have nightmares, when the volcanoes are active you can't stop them!
