Sessions House is set in Preston, in Lancashire. The building lies close to the town centre and was built in 1903. The interior has large and impressive art-deco chandeliers. Designed in the neo-baroque architectural style that reflects the early nineteenth century period, it also has a tower that is 179 feet. In 1933 a Municipal Building was added to the structure, which has now been converted to the Town Hall.

Five central windows of Session House symbolise the industries of Preston. The house was refurbished in 1977 and now has two large courtrooms for hearing High Court's criminal and civil cases.

Close to Preston's Session House is the War Memorial built in 1926. Preston is the administrative capital of Lancashire and the county's most important commercial centre.
