Mitosis form identical daughter cells from parent cells. Each cell divides into two cells.
These cells have the same characteristics as the parent cells like:

Same shape
Same size
Same functions
Same organelles
Same number of chromosomes
Same genetic traits

So, basically, cells that are produced from mitosis are exactly like the parent cells. It is cells produced from meiosis that are different from the parent cells in that daughter cells have half the number of chromosomes in the parent cells and some genetic variation.
