Do Plants Grow Better With Sugar Water Or Salt Water?

Fresh water. Salt water will kill most plants because the salt makes the water IN the plant move OUT of the plant, causing it to wilt, and over long exposure, die. Sugar water will only help bacteria and molds grow on the plant, hindering it's growth.

Well sugar and salt are both pretty bad.. We all know that salt is the worst idea ever yet, but sugar water?
We all think that since sugar has fructose/glucose that the plants need, we should give it to them. But this is wrong-why?
First of all there are heaps and heaps of bacterias in soil and since bacteria feeds of sweets things, it make them grow even bigger and more harmful. The most commonly know bacteria while growing plants with sugar is yeast- and thats bad
Second is when people make sugar, they put in other chemicals such as bleach which is also harmful for plants.

I think freshwater cause saltwater burns the roots down,and the plant dies!

Salt will kill the plant and sugar will allow it to grow with the help in ATP

Fresh water is told to be more ORGANIC for plant growth so I would go for that

Sugar water because when a plant does photothensis part of the food (sugar/glucose) that the plant produses is part of the sugar we eat.But if you use wite sugar it wont grow because in the factory they put in chimichals but the brown sugar is the natural healthy one.Salt is acidic so it will die!!So to conclude use brown sugar NOT salt !! :D

Fresh water always make the better plant growth. As slat and sugar water kills the plant in the short run of time.Salt sodium would destroyes plants stems and growth and sugar makes the bacteria.
