Equal to what? (ounces,pounds,grams,liters,etc...) and what is the substance youre measuring?
If its 7/8 cups of rice krispies then it would be much less than 7 ounces.
If it was magnetic material it would weigh more than 7 ounces.

If its a recipe youre doing, just fill a cup and take a little off the top (maybe 2-3 level tablespoons).
