A 300.0 mL sample of nitrogen inside a rigid, metal container at 20.0 °C is placed inside an oven whose temperature is 50.0 °C. The pressure inside the container at 20.0 °C was at 3.00 atm. What is the pressure after its temperature is increased?

at constant volume ,pressure is directly proportional to the temperature.

Hence , assume ideal condition, ( P1V1)/T1  =  (P2V2)/T2

P1= 3 atm, T1 = 20 deg C. And T2 = 50 deg C. V1 and V2 are equal, hence both cancel.

finally u will get P2.

P1V1/T1 = P2N2/T2

Is correct, but conversions need to be made here.

Celsius needs to be converted to Kelvin.
