Earthworms obtain their food from either organic material found in soil or by feeding of the decomposition of other animals. Earthworms get their food by pulling it into their mouth with a part of their body called the prostomium. Next the food is then digested in the worm's body. Lastly, the nutrients are then absorbed into the worm's body.
