Although it may not look all that exciting, it's thought that a specific creosote bush found in the Mojave Desert is the oldest living thing on this planet!

The plant which goes by the name "King Clone" is a creosote ring that has been living it up for the past 11,700 years in the hot and dry Californian desert.

Its scientific name is Larrea tridentata and was identified as the oldest organism on earth by scientists measuring through carbon dating.
