Well kind of.  People often try to harness the geo thermal energy surrounding it's layers often found in the surrounding geysers for usages of alternate energy source for say powering wind turbines a more supposed cleaner method of energy.

Other such usages including the sulphur and variouse minerals often minerals for on the undersurface of a volcanoes which in itself is very unsafe job

In a sense, we all use volcanoes as it is thought the atmosphere on our planet wouldn't be the way it is if it weren't for volcanic activity and gasses being released from deep within the Earth.

The remnants of a volcanoe are also used:

- Minerals and rocks

- Farmable land rich in minerals from volcanic activity is great for farming on
