In an episode of Red Dwarf, the crew was attacked by a curry in deep space (hey in an (almost) infinite universe, anything is possible, right?) They escaped by neutralising it with ice-cold lager.
Something new seems to be discovered every week in "The Universe we Know" some of it scary, all of it interesting.
We're still waiting for the discovery of the curry nebula!
