What do you think about dark matter? Does it really exist, or has it been invented to "explain away" mathematical problems that occur when analysing gravitational effects in the "universe we know"?

I believe black matter is just an educated suggestion, as are most other explanations of the mysteries of the unknown.

It's there,  a Graph or video would help me explain, not sure at this point

How to do that? I will return when I can figure out this site -

While there have been many theorems to try and prove the elusive dark matter for like example  symmetric particles and gravitational lensing .

Correct if I'm wrong here, but isn't dark matter as evidence towards string theory and to a higher spacious fith dimensional being where gravity supposedly seeps to? So I think comparisons could be drawn here to many math and ideas that try to give a feasible reason to many hypothesis. Examples include gauge theory and the Boson Higgs  - so who knows maybe someday it'll be proven real .
