Recently I read the news in the online where pacific northwest will face the mega earthquake which will threatened to human and animals. It's true? That means earth will face the danger when this mega earthquake happen in Pacific Northwest, right?

Earthquakes beyond 5 on the Richter scale can pose a threat to humans and animals.  The larger the quake, the more damage.  However, the damage is localized.  No earthquake on the Pacific Coast, regardless of size,  will affect anyone beyond the Pacific Coast.  (FYI: I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so we here are well attuned to the threat of "the Big One".)

Eventually there will be a major, catastrophic earthquake on the west coast, but there is, at this time, no way to tell when other than a statistical guess based on past events over millions of years.  But when it comes to major impact on the human species, I would be more concerned about an eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera -- in case you didn't have enough to worry about.
