What makes you sad?
A lot of things can make me sad .. As of late .. What comes to mind is the fiasco created by a senseless slaughter of a lion named Cecil, an innocent wild animal that did no one any harm .. But, I'd like to add, not just for THIS lion .. But for the countless others who have been slaughtered for nothing more than the thrill of 'the kill' .. And to gain a head trophy. Now THAT makes me sad.
A sad, moving thing that made me sad was watching a professional violinist playing classical in the Vons parking lot. I couldn't understand how someone who could play like an angel would be playing for tips. What had happened to him that he would have to play for his dinner? Not to mention the melancholy songs he was playing. I know I wasn't the only one he brought to tears. I went back and brought him dinner.
Not hearing from people I love makes me pretty sad. Betrayal, the fact that I hate myself... The only person I've ever opened up to stopped talking to me, so yeah, I have a lot to be upset about.
Having somebody trying to talk to me while I'm trying to read a blanky book. :(
