The sun will start to die in roughly 5 billion years, and I think that will destroy the Earth. However, humans have a nasty habit of self-destruction, so if anyone is even alive when that happens is a different matter.

We are destroying it, so it won't be long.
It depends upon us, we humans are destroying everything,but one day surely the end of our earth will come only because of humans that's my opinion, unless we lose the headweight there will be gradual approach to our end for example through war or through nature destruction by humans.....

I'm not sure what you mean by world. If you are talking about the planet the bible says at Eccl 1:4 the earth will remain forever.. The only adjustment will be who will be allowed to continue to use it as there home. Ps 37:29 "The righteous will possess the earth , and they will live forever on it"
There will always be intelligent life on earth according to Psalms 37: 29, "The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it."
that's really up to God.
The earth will last long past its ability to support life. Be secure in knowing you can probably live out your life long before that happens.
