It depends on where you live and what you consider "cold". When I lived in Texas, if the temperature dropped to 60 degrees in the winter, that was considered cold.
I live in Nebraska now. In the winter, if it hits 30 degrees, my son will put on shorts to shovel the snow. So, it all depends on where you live and what you attitude is in regards to the cold.
72 degrees seems like a nice, moderate temperature to me.
