Soon the US will be banning plastic micro beads in toothpaste and cosmetics... ( replaced with what ? )
The microbeads have been banned in California for a while now. I hadn't even noticed they were gone until recently when I saw a news report saying they had already been banned. I think in time they will or have replaced the beads with natural exfoliating substances. Like oatmeal, rice, apricot seeds, walnut shells, and bamboo among others.
