42 is special number of Jan! You! So in honor of you! I'd say Yes! Why not! ?

Also we can name a month after you! "Jan 42" month!  And that month of the year be 42 days! Just a little change in calculator is needed! No biggie!! !

Good idea but....no. The government would probably screw it all up and make a total mess of it. Best we leave it as it is.

No, that would leave one month with only 20 days in it, and throw off charting the solar cycle.

Not to mention, whose birth months do you toss out?

No thats too much to deal with. Interestingly, if we made each month 73 days long, it would work out to five equal months. But who wants that.

A month is about the amount of time that the moon takes to orbit the Earth.  It wouldn't be a month if it was 42 days long.
