The pH scale (potential of Hydrogen) runs from 0 to 14. Zero being most acidic, and 14 the most alkaline. 7 being the midway point of the scale is what's lnown as pH neutral.

So in answer to your question, the pH 5.0 solution is still acidic but less acidic than the pH 2.0 solution, as both values are below 7.
