I don't think you've copied your question accurately but the answer is 30 metres/second. That gives the velocity of the object which can move at a speed of 30 metres per second or 108 kph.

I suspect the "South" is significant. Velocity is supposed to have both speed and direction (God, how I hate Mr Phillips, the physics teacher....)

I assumed that was part of a latitude, like 30 seconds south.
