The dynamite as we all know was developed by Alfred Nobel, Swedish chemist and engineer. It is an explosive and consists of nitroglycerine. Dynamite uses diatomaceous earth for adsorbent. It resembles a rod in structure and is about 20 centimetres in length and 2.5 centimetres in diameter. Dynamite is a detonator. It promotes a shock wave and is more destructive than substance that deflagrate. This highly explosive dynamite is utilized in work that requires the destructive quality of dynamite.

Dynamite is not just used during wars against enemy troops or to stop and slow down the advance of enemy and their supplies. It is also used for civil purposes. It is used to bring down huge structures like Mountains for carving out a tunnel inside it. Huge and old buildings and areas not in use are demolished using dynamite. Mining requires the use of dynamite to dig below the ground.
