Barium nitrate reacts with sulfuric acid to form barium sulfate and hydrochloric acid. The balanced equation for the reaction is;

BaCl2 + H2SO4 ------> BaSO4 + 2HCl

BaCl2 ------> Ba+2  +  2Cl-1

H2SO4 ------> H+1  +  SO4-2

One molecule of BaCl2 reacts with one molecule of H2SO4 to form one molecule of BaSO4 and two molecules of HCl.
