While it is a fact that humans greatly contribute to the production of green house gasses and many other harmful toxins for the environment, on the "big picture" scale we don't do that damage. The Earth, by its very nature, goes through cycles of global cooling and global warming; it was doing this long before we got here, and it will be doing it long after we're all gone.
