How Do Oil Spills Affect Humans?

If they are the owners of the oil

they get angry at the waste of oil
they have to pay for the clean up
they get embarrassed by the bad publicity
they make plans so that it doesn't happen again
they think, "Next time we won't buy the absolutely cheapest second-hand oil tanker."

they train their drivers and ships' captains to deal with oil more carefully
they institute a "No drinking and driving" policy
If they are the people living where the spill occurred

beaches are polluted with oil
all the seabirds and marine creatures have been killed or injured
the oil company doesn't pay for the entire clean up and the beaches are not properly cleaned
government accepts a donation from the oil company instead of prosecuting it in the International Court.

Kills animals less crab and shrimp therefore higher prices on them!

Well you can't swim in the ocean when oil has been spilt cause you will be swimming in oil. And I  have heard it causes cancer for us

Animals, oil industry, fishing industry, sales, money, time, people sometimes, and sometimes equipment :)

I believe it doesnt do anything but cause a rash if you get into contact with it. You would have to eat a lot of effected fish to have health problems from oil spills. :)
