Tap water can only maintain plants whereas rain water will make plants BLOSSOM and give trees a deep green lush look to nature. Rain water has NITROGEN in it that makes things grow and gives all plant life a healthy existence. That's why rain forests are so dense and green. There is continuous rain;
and of course sunlight helps

Plants grow better in rain water. Because rain water has NITROGEN and nitrogen has nutrients like rain-water, soil, sunlight, and space to grow wild.plants don't grow better in tap water because tap water sometimes has TOXIODS and toxiods are bad for plants. Toxiods kill plants and that is why rain water is better for plants
