Yes Alaska is bigger than Texas. On most maps it looks like Alaska is smaller, but the reason is on most maps Alaska is to big so they shrink it down.

The state of Alaska is the biggest state in the United States of America, larger than all the other 49 states including Texas. The total land area of Alaska including the islands is 663,267 sq mi (1,717,854 sq km) while the land area of Texas the second largest state is 268,581 sq mi (695,622 sq km), which means Alaska is more than double the size of Texas and about one-fifth the size of the entire continental United States (3,718,711 sq mi 9,631,418 sq km).

However in terms of population Texas has the upper hand with a population comprising 20,851,820 persons while Alaska has a population comprising 626,932 persons.

All of the land mass in Alaska that is covered up with high tide, when added together, is bigger than Alaska. Cut Alaska in half, and Texas would become the Third largest state.

But if there's something Texas has Alaska beat at, it's population.

Alaska is bigger than Texas, I've always, from what I've been told, Alaska's size is comparable to all the states east of the Mississippi River combined. Concerning Texas I understand it's full of steers & queers.
