According to the International Organisation for Standardisation (which is abbreviated as the ISO), there are six different dimensions of pallets. The details of these pallets are given in the document which is entitled ISO Standard 6780: Flat Pallets for Intercontinental Materials Handling-Principal Dimensions and Tolerances.

In Europe and Asia, the dimensions in millimetres are 1, 200 times 1, 000 and the dimensions in inches are 47.24 times 39.37. In Europe, the dimensions in millimetres are 1, 200 times 800 and the dimensions in inches are 47.24 times 31.50. In North America, the dimensions in millimetres are 1, 219 times 1, 016 and the dimensions in inches are 48.00 times 40.00. In North America, Europe and Asia, the dimensions in millimetres are 1, 067 times 1, 067 and the dimensions in inches are 42.00 times 42.00.
