BaCO3 is the chemical formula for barium carbonate and Fe2(SO4)3 is the chemical formula for ferric sulfate. Barium carbonate reacts with ferric sulfate to form ferric carbonate and barium sulfate. White precipitates of barium sulfate are formed during this reaction. The chemical equation for the reaction is;

BaCO3 ------ > Ba+2 + CO3-2

Fe2(SO4)3 ------ > 2Fe+3 + 3SO4-2

Ba+2 + SO4-2 ------ > BaSO4

2Fe+3 + 3CO3-2 ------ > Fe2(CO3)3

The balanced equation for the reaction is;

3BaCO3 + Fe2(SO4)3 ------> 3BaSO4 + Fe2(CO3)3
