Advantages of  “INCREMENTAL MODEL”:
• The versions are provided after each iteration of the incremental model.
• Incremental model includes use of the software by user to for changes.
• This model dose not effect anyone’s business values because they provides core of the software which customer needs, to the customer first, which will help him/her to keep running his/her business.
• It is flexible and easy to manage more manageable process and better software making and better software structure
• Better risk management because you can confirm the outcome by the customer after every version that what ever you are making is according to plan or not and fix it in next version etc.
• Testing is easy

1.Increment need to be relatively small.
2. Mapping requirements to increments may be not easy.
3. Common software facilities may be difficult to identify

Disadvantages

    * Each phase of an iteration is rigid and do not overlap each
other.
    * Problems may arise pertaining to system architecture because
not all requirements are gathered up front for the entire software life cycle.

Advantages
# incremental model  used when  requirements are clear but project scope requires pure linear approach.

# In incremental model first project is deliver to customer is a core project

#After this we give other features of the software.

#We get feedback from customer after being checked core product if there is any flaw in the core product then it is removed in next increment

#Inincremental model we requre only few staff if whole staff is not present then we can start with core product or some features and deliver to customer until other staff members were come and join in next increment.

#In incremental model we can manage the technical risks also.

Advantages of Incremental Model

System is developed and delivered in increments after establishing an overall architecture.
Requirements and specifications for each increment may be developed.
Users may experiment with delivered increments while others are being developed.
Intended to combine some of the advantages of prototyping but with a more manageable process and better system structure.
Incremental development is especially useful when staffing us unavailable for a complete implementation by the business deadline.
Early increments can be implemented with fewer people
