Work hard all your life. Then six weeks before you die, rob a big bank.
Here you go...
. . . And I want Red Velvet Cake.
The difference . . . Red Velvet Cake is not a cheating bastard.
Just kidding . . .
I just saw Red Velvet Cake cheat with another desert . . .
Depends upon your definition of "Rich" . . . Are we talking monetary or other things in life?
Work hard.
I pity you!
What a horrible birthday.
When's your birthday? I'll send him to your house.
I am sorry to hear that. I am not one for slapstick comedy, so I rarely watched his movies. I do remember looking forward to the muscular dystrophy telethon as child. I know he and Dean Martin had a nasty beak up, but they worked things out many years later.

RIP
Not my favorite person at all.
He spoke at my College Graduation. As a child, he was someone I absolutely LOVED to watch. Me and my sisters would watch all of the Jerry Lewis movies that played on the other channels during his telethon. "Money From Home" was one of my favorites.
He was a bad drinker, Got married to his 3rd cousin, and made some great music.
His comedy was different but funny i loved it
I'm afraid his comedy is a bit before my time, but I never knew he was perceived so negatively. I recently heard this his efforts raised over $2 billion for muscular dystrophy. That's nothing to balk at.
I have heard his name.... Don't know anything about him. After reading this thread..... Not to sure I want to know anything about him. But I will have respect for the dead. RIP Jerry.
I liked him and Dean Martin together in their movies.
My dad met me from school, I guess I was 8 or 9. We drove to a Cinema (Movie Theater to you lot over the water). We watched a Jerry Lewis movie. It was supposed to have been funny.
No-one in the entire auditorium even sniggered.
We all watched the cinematic car-crash in silence.
I'm sad that … Read more
He was not much of a comedian, I didn't care for his movies and couldn't even watch one. He ended up a miserable old man and took delight in degrading cripples (his word, not mine).
Personally I was never too impressed with his style of comedy. His remarks regarding "challenged individuals" turned me off a long time ago.
I'm guessing cooking is his main hobby/passion! I reckon he's a proper mans man though, likes BBQs, Beer, a few games of Poker!!
I have several:
- Dreams of the Everyday Housewife
- Gentle on my Mind
- The Hand that Rocks the Cradle
- Both Sides Now
