What A Differentiate A Food Chain From A Food Web?

A food chain only shows one relationship between the producer,1st consumer, 2nd consumer. E.g. Grass->horse->lion->humans
where as a food web shows several organisms and its relationship with other organisms in its ecosystem and the amount of predators or preys an organism has

In reality a food web is to be considered as a many food chains interconnecting and having some sort of relation with each other. in a food web there can be variations of predators to the same animal.
For example, grass is eaten by grasshopper which is then eaten by a swallow which is also eaten by a hawk.- thats a food chain. A food web however may change the course of things by stating that the grasshopper is eaten by a frog.
