Either one of your ideas are good ones, they'll both work well. You might also consider the climate that you live in, because if you live in a damp climate, there might be plenty of moisture all the time. Whereas, if you live in a colder climate, the air can cause quite a heat loss if the fan isn't installed properly, and that could cost you in the long run.

Make sure it will seal properly if it's a wall mount, and if you go with the ceiling mount, please use an electrician. (I would personally opt with the ceiling fan, and light.) Good luck, and hope this helps.
