Visceral fat is the fat that surrounds the vital organs like heart and is also found in the abdomen. This type of fat is metabolized by the liver, which converts it into cholesterol, that later circulates in the blood. There is no count for this fat however Cholesterol that turns bad is called Low density lipo-proteins does have a count.
