Psychology is the study of the human mind, and the history of it shows how our thought processes have evolved and the techniques designed to study them. Before we can ascertain what is abnormal we must first be able to identify what is normal. As time goes on, the boundries of what is percieved as normal and abnormal, shift.

We study psychology, because we get to know what actually is running in the human brain. We get to know his/her thoughts, what type of thoughts one has and what type of attitude one has towards anything. We'll get to know about this topic if we study the subject till its core.

We study psychology to get a better insight and understanding of the human brain. See how we think, feel and why we sometimes act the way we do. It helps us look at how humans have developed over the years, and can be important to understanding the ways of someones nature.
