Goosebumps do make your hair grow faster. My friend majors in science and she asked her professor about it after class. He did research on it and told her that being cold after you have just shaved does something to the hair follicles which makes it grow faster than normal. Obviously that isn't exactly what he said, but I don't really understand science so that's my version of his explanation.
Yes every night that I shave the next morning when its really cold in my room and I get from under my covers I get goosebumps and then......POOF!!! My smooth legs are prickly. So I suggest that you shave in cold water because when you get warm no prickles and when you get cold no prickles.
