Cytoplasm is a jelly like substance inside of cells which allows the cell to keep a specific size, all other organelles float inside of the cytoplasm.

Cytoplasm is the fluid environment inside the cell. This fluid consists of all of a cell's internal contents, and is mostly made of water. Cytoplasm includes salts, an assortment of organic molecules, including many enzymes that catalyze reactions, as well as water.
The cytoplasm is separated from the watery extra-cellular fluid, which is outside, by the plasma membrane. It contains discrete membrane-enclosed structures called organelles. Each of the organelles performs a specific cellular function. They also have specialized proteins that provide an intracellular support system.
The cytoplasm is in all cells, where metabolic reactions occur. Cytoplasm can be found in eukaryotic (animal) cells, and in the prokaryotic (plant) cells. The cytoplasm in animal cells is much larger than that found in the plant cell. Bacterial cytoplasm contains ribonucleic acid (RNA), on which proteins are synthesized.
Cytoplasm has three main functions, energy, storage, and manufacturing. It contains other organelles which store and produce energy. The cytoplasm is also the storage place within the cell.
The cytoskeleton gives organization and shape to the cytoplasm. It is a network of fibers of proteins, which is connected to most organelles within the cytoplasm.

Cytoplasm is the part of the cell which is enclosed with a plasma membrane. It often contains organelles which are filled with liquid that is kept separate from the cytoplasm through cell membrane.
The structure of Cytoplasm can be described by describing its components. The main elements of Cytoplasm are Cytosol, Organelles and Cytoplasmic inclusions.

Cytosol is nor enclosed within the membrane bound organelles. It is a translucent fluid which contains cytoplasmic elements. It comprises of 70 percent of cell's volume. The Organelles are bound in the membrane and have specific functions. The small particles suspended in cytosol are called inclusions. There are a number of different inclusions.
