I've heard that if you store them in the freezer, they will recharge (at least a little) I regularly store them in the fridge, anyway and it seems that they last longer. It would be a good test project...
If you freeze them and then thaw them out you can always get the last bit of juice out of them
The arm pit thing actually worked!
My lithium 3v battery was way dead, did that, good as new for 2 hours

There isn't much you can do to get old batteries work as they lost their power. The only thing which you can do is to put the batteries under sunlight and it will charge the cells. But this is only a temporary remedy. You need to buy rechargeable batteries to make those work again and again by charging.
I`Ver never tried any of those things but I will try . Thanks 4 info guys
When I was in high school on the bus for a field trip I would often bring a CD player and when the batteries would go dead you could hold them in your arm Pitts and listen to four or five more songs. But I don't think it would work on car batteries. Haha
Get a charger! Plug it into the wall and put the old batteries on it and wait! Good as new!
