Rectifying Entries are those entries which are passed when the accounts have been closed and ladgers & trial balance is prepared and we find that the trial blance Dr. Side does not agree with the Cr. Side. In that case when after scrutinizing the books of accounts, these entries are passed. These errors are of Two typyes :-
a ) Two Sided Error : - Which effects 2 accounts simultaneoulsy.
B ) One Sided Error : - Which effects only 1 Accounts so to pass this entry the other account which is affteced is Suspense Account.
