Is A Sense Of Humor A Sign Of Intelligence?

Yes it yes because morons don't have sense of humor...hahaha!!!!

I think it is.  I have a very good sense of humor. It  is VERY easy to make me laugh.

I look at how that humor comes out.
If it' on the order of ^&&^%$#$#$ in
every sentence, I consider them rather
dull.  Even if they're diplomas galore.
To my mind, if they don't have the vocabulary
to find other, cleaner words or the self-
respect to even try, I'd say that they are
intelligent but not very smart.

Voltaire once said " Some there are who are so ashamed of all that they do not know, they tend to disguise themselves either as whits or philosophers."  Think about it.

It is a sign of intelligence but not in an intelligent way. LOL. Get what I mean?

Technically, it's probably not. But I always perceive it as such. The most intelligent and interesting people I know possess a good sense of humor, or at least an ability to laugh at the absurdity of life. That seems quite intelligent to me. Curious to read what others have to say on this topic.
