Microbrachycephaly is characterised by a small head that is also unusually short and wide in proportion to its size and flatness in the back of head.

It is associated with congenital syndromes such as :

1-Down syndrome

2-Angelman syndrome

3-Roberts Syndrome

4-Cordial de Lange syndrome (Cdls1,Cdls2,Cdls3)

5-Sutherland -Haan syndrome

6-Duplicate(2q)

7-deletion 1p36

8-Microbrachycephaly -- ptosis -- cleft lip: A very rare syndrome characterised mainly by a small, short head, droopy eyelids and a cleft lip.
