It has a large surface area, due to small microvilli on its surface making it an efficient organ of absorption.
It has a good blood supply meaning the glucose and amino acids after absorbed willl be carried away quickly so the concentration gradient is maintained and more substances will diffuse across
the walls of the villus is thin, meaning diffusion is quicker
there is a lacteal in the villus that carries the broken down fats- now glycerol and fatty acids- towards the blood system later on.

The most important is the large surface areaaa. :) revising biology right now for GCSE mocks.

The Villus Absorbs fat, minerals,& essentials needed for
creating energy In our body into the blood. Which then Leaves us with the waste
materials which are the undigested matter that is pushed into the Large
Intestine. Therefore the role of Villus in relation to the absorption of the
end products of digestion is that it creates the end products of digestion.

Villus increase the surface area of the intestine, this allows for increased
absorption.
