What Is Collins Reagent?
Collins reagent is a mixture of chromium oxide and pyridine in dichloromethane. It is used as oxidizing agent and can be used instead of Pyridinium Chlorochromate and Jones reagent. It is solution of sarett reagent in methylene chloride.
